Vintage Super Zenith 10x50 Binoculars – Made in Japan – Field 5.5°
A classic pair of vintage Super Zenith 10x50 binoculars, made in Japan and featuring coated optics with a 5.5° field of view.
The binoculars are overall in good cosmetic condition for their age, with normal signs of previous use. They have been tested and are working properly. The focusing mechanism operates correctly and both sides provide a usable view.
Please note an important optical imperfection: on one of the two large front objective lenses, the original blue anti-reflective coating has been removed or worn away. The glass itself is still present and intact, but the coating on this front lens is no longer there.
Because of this, that side may show more reflections, glare or slightly reduced contrast compared with the other lens, especially in bright lighting conditions. Despite this imperfection, the binoculars are still fully usable and working.
A nice vintage Japanese-made pair of 10x50 binoculars, suitable for casual use, display, collection, or restoration.
