I am many years into 2 channel stereo and this little thing amazed me the way its amplifier drives- reminds me a 2,0 turbocharged sports car when you push it: the further you push the further it delivers. So does this thing. Connect any pair of speakers sensitine or not, the further you push this amp the further it goes on: clean with finesse and effortlessly.---Amazing!!!
I lift the amp up (its almost 10 kilos) and I opened it up by removing top cover: Wow!!! BIG FAT transformer the kind you see in very High end audio gear. Power supply with 2 huge (water tank like) capacitors (of a known brand upper class) and an array of Mosfets fixed on a huge cooling assembly. This thing is over engineered (say turbocharged). First thoughts: Keep it for me!!! BUT: its not mine.
The CD-player is typical Yamaha sound: reach and mature captivating you into the rythm.

The amplifier has many inputs so you can upgrade: MD, DAT, AUX, Tape loop, TV, Video. The system prefers its own matched pianocraft 400 Yamaha speakers finished in Lucid Piano shiny black. See them in another ad.
