The place is a courtyard in the old town, just off Anexartisias and a short walk from the Agora market. About 75 m² all together. The kitchen is the only part with walls and a roof, 13 m² of it, and the rest is open courtyard laid out as a garden, with trees and planting. The bar and the service side sit under a canopy, the rest of it is open. Around 24 to 28 seats. There is a separate entrance from the street, so it does not run through anything else.
It sits inside Makarta House, a small luxury hostel we restored in the old town, so there are guests on the property every day and offices all around during the week. The lane itself is quiet rather than busy, which suits a place people come to on purpose.
We have not fitted it out yet, and that is deliberate. Whoever takes it, we put in the kitchen, the fridges, the furniture, the lighting and the greenery to suit what they are doing. €1.800 a month, utilities separate. Flexible on the terms, we would rather find someone for the long run. The licence is on the tenant. The pictures are visualisations of how it could look, the final look we decide together.
