10 The Yashica Auto Yashinon-DS 50mm f/1.9 is a classic Japanese manual-focus prime lens, well known for its attractive rendering, strong sharpness and beautiful vintage character. The lens uses the classic M42 screw mount, making it compatible with many vintage M42 film cameras and also easy to adapt to a wide range of modern mirrorless cameras with the appropriate adapter. The 50mm focal length offers a very natural perspective, while the bright f/1.9 maximum aperture makes it an excellent choice for portraits, everyday photography, street photography and lower-light situations.
