Built from 1120 strands of 6N OCC copper with an asymmetrical twist, a progressive shield that thickens along the run and silver or silver plated terminations. The series has been withdrawn, which sets the price. Celesta sits in the middle of Esprit's range, above Beta and below Eterna. This is a 3m pair of loudspeaker cable from a discontinued series. Esprit moved the whole catalogue to its G10 generation in 2026, so Celesta in this form is no longer produced. The cable is exactly what it always was. The saving comes from its position in the catalogue, not from any change to the product. What it does Loudspeaker cable carries the amplifier's full output, so the conductor has to be substantial. Celesta uses 1120 strands of 0.07mm 6N OCC copper, continuously cast so the crystal boundaries along the conductor are reduced, laid up with an asymmetrical twist. Two different dielectrics are used in one cable, a stiffer high temperature PVC and a softer silicone, an approach Esprit chose deliberately over a single uniform insulator. Shielding is progressive: roughly the first third of the run has none, the middle third one layer and the final third two. Ferrites are fitted at the loudspeaker end.
