The series has been discontinued since Esprit introduced its G10 generation in 2026, so what is offered here is G9 series stock at a clearance price rather than a cut down version of anything. What it does Loudspeaker cable has to pass the whole output of the amplifier, so the priorities are a generous conductor, a well behaved insulator and a firm connection at both ends. Beta uses multi stranded 5N OCC copper from a Japanese source, cast continuously so that the copper crystals run long rather than being broken up along the conductor. The conductors are arranged symmetrically and the insulation deliberately is not, mixing a stiff high temperature PVC with a soft silicone. Connections are silver plated copper at 20 microns, with a ferrite choke against radio frequency interference. How it sounds and where it fits Keep the expectation sensible. Cable is the last few percent, and the effect varies with the system. Beta suits a first serious system, roughly €2,500 to €6,000, where moving on from packaged wire is worthwhile but a four figure cable would be out of balance with the electronics. Measure the real route, along the floor and up behind each loudspeaker, then add slack. If it is marginal, take the 3m pair rather than pulling this one tight. Does the extra length in the 3m pair cost anything sonically? Not in any way you are likely to notice over half a metre at this gauge. Use the shortest length that fits comfortably, and keep both channels equal. Is it worth going straight to Celesta? If the rest of the system is above about €6,000, possibly.
