Price per pair.The A1.2 is the smallest model in Spendor's A-Line Mark 2 range and the one that proves a compact sealed cabinet can still sound open and energetic. At 308mm tall and only 186mm deep it goes on a shelf or a small stand without dominating the room.The Mark 2 revision keeps the 15cm EP77 polymer bass and mid cone that gives the A-Line its uncoloured midrange, and adds a refined internal bracing system that reduces cabinet interaction and time smearing. The sealed enclosure keeps bass taut and controlled, so the A1.2 stays articulate close to a rear wall or in a small room where a ported design would become heavy.It suits a smaller listening room, a second system or a desk based setup running from a good integrated amplifier. Sensitivity is 83dB and the load is an easy 8 ohms, so 25 to 100 watts of clean power is plenty.
