It runs the same Hi-Fi streaming hardware as the M Series, feeding an external DAC through a full set of digital outputs while holding no converter of its own.Timing comes from two ultra low phase noise femtosecond clocks, one dedicated to the 44.1 kHz family and one to the 48 kHz family, each fed by its own low noise linear regulator. An FPGA handles division and switching automatically, which is the foundation of the TT-1's low jitter output.Unusually for its price, the TT-1 accepts an external 12 V DC supply. When a linear power supply is connected the unit prioritises it and disconnects the AC input, retaining only the ground, so the upgrade path is open without modification. A power filter and multiple low noise regulators feed each circuit block independently.Connect a USB drive and the TT-1 rips CDs automatically to its internal storage, tagged and ready to play. An NVMe SSD slot with its own quiet power supply expands that library, SMB sharing lets any computer on the network manage it, and the unit can act as a NAS for other streamers.
