Well maintained bmw, oil changed every 4,000 miles.
Recently replaced:
Battery, Alternator, engine oil cooler and oil filter housing, transmission oil cooler, steering wheel Mkit, original is still available as a spare, new spark plugs, recent coolant flushed, new transmission fluid and hydraulic valves, fresh oil and filters, new tires and rear brake pads.
All of the above mentioned new components replaced within last 12 months.
The car still needs some service, it needs new valve cover gaskets as it’s leaking oil (little amount doesn’t affect performance as long as top ups are made and monitored the amount)
Needs new frontal shock absorbers (doesn’t affect performance and can drive normally up to a year with no problems)
As well as front brake pads are due in 5,000km.
All of the aforementioned problems are non urgent service parts that need to be replaced after certain amount of mileage, and do not affect performance, cost to fix all is around 500€ or less, and the car can withstand few weeks or months to postpone replacements with no problems at all, only the inconveniences of oil leaking, which is normal for gaskets and seal covers after 200,000km.
There are minor unnoticeable scratches in the rear side and front of the car, as well as heat damage to the engine hood and roof of the car from cyprus sun.
I got a quote of 540€ to repair all.
