SLK Development is expanding, and we are looking for an Experienced Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience to join our team in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The successful candidate will take an active role in the financial and accounting operations of the company, working closely with management and supporting the continued growth of our real estate development activities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions
• Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank and supplier reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow, payments, expenses and outstanding balances
• Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory requirements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors and external professionals
• Support management with financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate financial records across company projects and entities
Candidate Profile
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience – essential
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Good understanding of Cyprus VAT and taxation procedures
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent command of Greek and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
• Professionalism, confidentiality and a strong sense of responsibility
• Previous experience in real estate, property development or construction will be considered a strong advantage
• ACCA/ACA or other relevant professional qualification will be considered an advantage
