Assistant Conveyor Belt Technician – ConveyorZone
ConveyorZone is looking for an Assistant Conveyor Belt Technician to support our team with conveyor belt installation, repairs and maintenance in our workshop and at customer sites.
Main duties:
* Assist with belt preparation, cutting, splicing and hot/cold vulcanisation under the lead technician’s supervision.
* Help install and replace conveyor belts, rollers, scrapers and other components.
* Prepare tools, materials and equipment for each job.
* Assist with inspections, troubleshooting and repairs.
* Keep tools and work areas clean and organised.
* Follow safety procedures, including equipment isolation before work begins.
Requirements:
* Practical skills and an interest in mechanical or industrial work.
* Willingness to learn and follow technical instructions.
* Ability to carry out physical work and travel to customer sites.
* Reliability, teamwork and attention to detail.
* Previous maintenance experience and a driving licence are advantages.
Training will be provided in conveyor belt servicing and vulcanisation.
