The Panasonic NV-GS60 is a classic MiniDV camcorder featuring a powerful 30x optical zoom, ideal for capturing nostalgic vintage-style videos with the authentic look of the early digital video era.
Condition and Functionality
Optical condition: Very good. The optics are clean and in very good condition.
Body condition: The camcorder has some small cosmetic marks, mostly on the upper side of the body, as shown in the photos. Please examine all photos carefully to assess the cosmetic condition.
Viewfinder and LCD screen: Clean and in good condition.
Mechanical condition: Fully tested and working properly.
MiniDV playback and recording: Tested and working normally. The camcorder reads and records MiniDV tapes without any issues.
IEEE (FireWire) connection: Fully tested for transferring video footage to a computer and working flawlessly.
Battery Performance
The battery is not new, as expected for a vintage camcorder, but it still provides a good amount of operating time for its age:
Approximately 40 minutes of recording time.
More than 60 minutes of video transfer time.
I personally tested the battery during video transfer and successfully transferred a complete 60-minute MiniDV tape without interruption.
Included Accessories
The camcorder comes with a USB battery charger, allowing you to charge the battery conveniently using a compatible USB power source.
A great choice for MiniDV enthusiasts, vintage video collectors, and anyone looking to capture or digitize old MiniDV tapes. The camcorder has been personally tested, including its recording, playback, battery performance, and IEEE video-transfer functionality.
