We are looking for a hands-on Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a private farm in Parekklisia, Cyprus.
The farm has ponies, a donkey, rabbits, chickens and a variety of plants and crops. We need someone who can independently take care of the entire property, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and is properly maintained.
5/2, with occasional weekend call-outs
Key Responsibilities:
Animal Care:
• Feeding and caring for ponies, a donkey, rabbits and chickens
• Cleaning animal enclosures and maintaining proper living conditions
• Monitoring animal health and coordinating veterinary visits
Plants & Harvesting:
• Caring for plants, crops and greenery across the property
• Organizing planting, watering, maintenance and harvesting
• Monitoring crop maturity and ensuring produce is harvested at the right time
Farm Maintenance & Operations:
• Managing the daily operations of the farm independently
• Maintaining the property, grounds, tools and equipment
• Performing minor repairs and practical maintenance tasks
• Identifying problems, taking initiative and resolving issues without constant supervision
• Planning seasonal tasks and ensuring materials and supplies are used appropriately
• Keeping the property clean, organized and in good condition
Requirements:
• Previous hands-on experience in farming, agriculture, animal care or managing a private estate
• Practical experience with both animals and plants
• Strong practical skills and the ability to carry out physical work
• A proactive, resourceful and responsible approach
• Ability to work independently, organize daily tasks and take ownership of the entire property
• Honesty, reliability and attention to detail
• Russian language — essential
• English — sufficient for communicating with other staff members and local service providers
• Legal right to work in Cyprus
Experience working on a farm in Cyprus or another Mediterranean country is a strong advantage, as the climate and seasonal conditions differ from those in Northern Europe.
Experience with irrigation systems, basic equipment maintenance and farm automation is also a plus.
