Artist's Statement:
In Winds of Passage, I sought to capture the quiet strength found in movement. This piece was born from a moment of reflection, looking out at the endless dance of light and water. Each boat is a vessel for a story—a memory, a dream, an ambition. I didn't want to define them with detail, but rather to distill their essence into strokes of color, allowing them to glide across a sea painted with the deep, layered mysteries of existence.
The cobalt and cerulean depths speak of resilience, while the soft, cool sky holds the promise of a distant shore. I feel that each one of us is like these sailing vessels: a silhouette in our own narrative, navigating vast, textured currents, moving purposefully toward the horizon. They sail together, yet each path is their own. I invite you to step onto the canvas and feel the salt breeze, to find a moment of peace and a whisper of your own journey in the quiet, painted wind.
