Sony cyber-shot dsc-wx9 - premium compact camera with carl zeiss lens excellent

18 A Pocket-Sized Camera Packed with Advanced Technology Released in 2011, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX9 was an impressive compact camera that brought several advanced technologies into a stylish, pocket-sized body. Even by today's standards, it offers an excellent combination of image quality, speed, creative features and portability. Key Features & Highlights Exmor R Back-Illuminated CMOS Sensor One of the camera's biggest advantages is its 16.2MP Exmor R BSI-CMOS sensor. Its back-illuminated design allows more light to reach the sensor, helping deliver better low-light performance, reduced image noise and impressive image quality for a compact camera. Fast Continuous Shooting – 10 fps The WX9 can capture full-resolution photographs at up to 10 frames per second. This impressive speed makes it ideal for capturing action, moving subjects, children, pets or those spontaneous moments that you don't want to miss. Premium Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens Equipped with a genuine Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, the camera offers 5x optical zoom, covering a versatile 25–125mm equivalent focal range. The 25mm wide-angle setting is particularly useful for landscapes, architecture, interiors and group photographs, while the optical zoom allows you to get closer to distant subjects without relying on digital zoom. iSweep Panorama Create impressive panoramic photographs simply by pressing the shutter and sweeping the camera across a scene. The WX9 automatically captures and stitches multiple images together in-camera, producing beautiful wide panoramic photographs without requiring any computer software. 3D Photography Modes The camera also includes creative 3D shooting modes, allowing you to experiment with three-dimensional images and bring an extra dimension to your photography. Soft Skin Mode A useful portrait feature that automatically softens skin tones, helping produce more flattering portraits without the need for computer editing. Premium 3.0-inch Xtra Fine LCD Unlike many compact cameras of its generation, the WX9 features a beautiful 3.0-inch Xtra Fine LCD screen with an impressive 921,000-dot resolution. It provides a sharp, detailed display, making it enjoyable to compose, review and appreciate your photographs. Condition & Included Accessories The camera is in close to perfect condition, both optically and cosmetically. It has been carefully inspected, fully tested and is working great. Included with the camera: Original Sony USB cable, allowing you to charge the battery directly inside the camera by connecting it to any standard USB port. No separate battery charger is required. Two batteries: Original Sony battery (included as a backup, as it no longer holds its charge particularly well). One brand-new aftermarket replacement battery for everyday use. Memory Card Compatibility: The camera has been tested successfully with SD cards up to 64GB. Price does not include a memory card. If you need one, I can supply a tested 64GB SD card for just €15 extra. Sample Photographs – Important Seller's Note I have included several sample photographs taken with this exact camera so you can see the actual image quality and colours it produces. All example photographs are straight-out-of-camera (SOOC) JPEG files. This means they are exactly as the camera recorded them and saved them to the memory card, without any post-processing, filters, colour adjustments, exposure corrections, contrast adjustments or white balance alterations. Please keep in mind that lighting conditions and the position of the light source can significantly influence the appearance and colours of photographs. For example: Bright sunny daylight: Usually produces more contrasty images with stronger shadows and more vivid colours. Cloudy weather: Produces softer, more diffused lighting and generally gentler contrast. Sunrise and sunset: Naturally introduce warmer, golden and orange tones into photographs. The camera's white balance settings also play an important role. For example, selecting the Cloudy white balance setting tells the camera to compensate for the cooler, bluish light typically found on cloudy days by adding warmer tones. Interestingly, you can also use this creatively! If you enjoy warmer-looking photographs, selecting Cloudy white balance even on a sunny day can introduce a pleasant warm tone to your images. For consistency, all my sample photographs were taken using the Automatic Exposure mode, allowing the camera itself to measure the available light and automatically determine the appropriate exposure settings. This gives you a realistic representation of what you can expect when using the camera in everyday automatic shooting. A beautiful, capable and surprisingly advanced Sony compact camera in excellent condition, ready to enjoy!
