•A real interesting finding, Super unique piece and RARE, a nautical metal trinket or cigarette box. This metal box is wood lined and accommodate 4 nested ashtrays.
These sets were popular as everyone smoked and each person had their own ashtray while playing cards, etc.
•It was made in Japan between 1920- 1940s by ASA HIHIHiHi.
•The box metal is heavy, a magnet does not stick.
•The box and Each ashtray are embossed and marked on the bottom corner: "ASA HIHIHIHI Made in Japan".
•Box measures 8.5x6.5x4.5cm while each tray measures 7.5x5.5cm respectively
•Would make an excellent gift for a Tobaccaina Collector, a collector of items from Japan, or someone who just loves unique things.
