One the finest examples of late 19th century Anglo- Indian bronze cobra candlesticks, made for the British market. The quality of the craftsmanship of the casting, the sculpture is complete with set with Candles

A substantial work, Realistically cast and modeled, the 16 cm standing coiled cobra raised on the 12 cm wide x 10 cm deep engraved bronze serpent tail (caudal) with open hood, supporting diameter finely engraved lotus motif bobeche, which holds a standard candle.

This art work was beautifully hand crafted between 1910/30's!
