Our client, a leading global financial services company, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Compliance Officer to support the Compliance team in daily operational and regulatory tasks. Requirements:- At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Lawyer in Cyprus;- Experience in asset management and corporate law in Cyprus.- Knowledge of the development sector;- Knowledge of Cypriot labor law;- English level C1;- Russian level C1.Responsibilities:- Structuring transactions;- Managing legal risks within current businesses;- Opening/managing bank accounts in conjunction with the finance department;- Working with contracts: preparing and agreeing company contracts, analyzing legal risks, participating in negotiations with counterparties;- Interaction with local licensing and permitting authorities;- Interaction with the legal department and external law firms;- Interaction with the company owner.
