ABOUT THE COMPANY

An actively scaling financial holding group with entities in Estonia and Cyprus. The group operates several B2B SaaS / fintech companies. The team is lean, the culture is built on ownership and autonomy.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Phase 1 (0–6 months): hands-on operational finance for the Estonian entities — billing, accounts receivable, reporting, treasury, and communication with accountants and banks.

Phase 2 (6–12 months): building the group-level finance function — intercompany transactions, management fees, transfer pricing, and holding consolidation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational block (from day one):

Invoicing, accounts receivable management, weekly AR reports

CF/P&L updates — weekly and monthly

Payment runs, payroll calculation and disbursement, bonus calculations

Preparing reports for external accountants, bank communications

Operational setup of new entities in Cyprus: coordination with banks, directors, and accountants

Group Finance (6–12 months):

Management fees: generating invoices from the holding to operating companies

Recording and reconciling intercompany transactions and loans

Consolidated P&L and CF reporting for the CFO

Maintaining service agreements and transfer pricing documentation

REQUIREMENTS

Must have:

- 3–6 years in finance / accounting, ideally with multi-entity or multi-currency experience

- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, models, reconciliations — without assistance)

- Hands-on experience with Xero or equivalent (QuickBooks, NetSuite)

- Ability to independently communicate with banks, accountants, and counterparties

- Business English — written and verbal for professional correspondence

Nice to have:

- Experience with Estonian OÜ / e-residency structures or Cypriot companies

- Understanding of management fee structures and transfer pricing

- Background in PE back-office, fund administration, or holding group finance

ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification

PERSONAL QUALITIES

- Ownership without authority — ability to drive results without direct line management

- Systems thinking — can trace a transaction end-to-end across multiple entities

- Comfortable with ambiguity — able to act where processes are not yet defined

- Equally effective communicating with a CFO and a local accountant
