Forklift/logistics operator

The Logistics Operator is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient

handling of goods within the Distribution Centre. The role ensures smooth

warehouse operations through proper loading, unloading, order preparation, and

strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position is primarily operational and plays a key role in supporting overall

warehouse performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

 Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

 Prepare customer orders accurately and on time

 Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, pallet stacker) and other

warehouse equipment

 Perform daily equipment safety checks

 Ensure correct storage and handling of materials

 Maintain inventory accuracy and support stock counts

 Follow SAP or warehouse system processes for order handling

 Maintain warehouse organization according to 5S standards

 Comply strictly with health & safety procedures

 Collaborate with warehouse team, drivers, and customer service

 Support general warehouse and yard operations as required

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor.

Performance is evaluated through ongoing supervisor feedback and annual

performance review.

Work Environment

 Based at the Limassol Distribution Center

 Work takes place in warehouse and yard areas

 Physically demanding role (lifting, moving, machinery operation)

Working Hours

Two shift schedule:

 07:00 – 15:00

 09:00 – 17:00

Primarily daytime work with occasional flexibility depending on workload.

Requirements

Education

 Secondary education

 Valid Category B driving license

Experience

 Ideally 2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution, or

manufacturing

 Forklift experience is preferred

 Good understanding of warehouse operations

 Basic system literacy (SAP is an advantage)

 Strong safety awareness

 Reliable and responsible

 Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Languages

 Greek preferred
