SENIOR WAREHOUSE OPERATIVELOCATION: Dali Industrial Area, NicosiaEMPLOYMENT: Full-timeSALARY: €1,700–€1,900 gross per month, depending on experienceABOUT CY DEALSCY Deals is a fast-growing Cyprus e-commerce company offering home, fitness, pet and lifestyle products.We are opening our own warehouse in Dali and are looking for an experienced, reliable and highly responsible Senior Warehouse Operative to become our first on-site warehouse employee.THE ROLEThe successful candidate will help set up and organise the warehouse and will take responsibility for its daily physical operation.The position requires someone who can work independently, make sensible day-to-day decisions and coordinate clearly with our Operations Coordinator and digital team.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- Set up and organise the warehouse.- Receive, unload and inspect containers and supplier deliveries.- Move, organise and store pallets and bulky products safely.- Create and maintain clear product locations.- Pick, check, prepare and dispatch customer orders.- Coordinate courier collections and incoming deliveries.- Enter and update stock accurately in the company’s inventory system.- Perform stock counts and investigate differences.- Separate and report damaged, missing or unidentified products.- Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised.- Help create practical warehouse procedures.- Train and guide additional warehouse workers as the team grows.REQUIREMENTS- Previous warehouse or distribution-centre experience.- Able to work independently without continuous on-site supervision.- Reliable, responsible and highly organised.- Strong attention to detail and stock accuracy.- Comfortable performing physical work and handling bulky products.- Good spoken and written English.- Comfortable using computers, smartphones and digital stock systems.- Legal right to work in Cyprus.- Clean criminal record. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy • Ensure the accurate recording and maintenance of the company's products and inventory. • Compare physical inventory with stock records in the inventory management system. • Update and maintain the accuracy of inventory management systems. • Prepare reports on inventory availability and stock movements. Stock Audits & Verification • Conduct scheduled physical stock counts and inventory checks. • Perform unscheduled and ad hoc inventory audits based on operational needs. • Carry out regular visits to company stores, warehouses, and other storage or sales locations across Cyprus. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. • Previous experience in a similar role or within a warehouse and inventory management environment will be considered an advantage. • Very good computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as inventory management software. • Good command of both Greek and English, written and spoken. • Willingness and ability to travel to the company’s stores and facilities across Cyprus. Key Responsibilities: • Measure surfaces and calculate the quantity of materials required • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and waterproofing where necessary • Cut tiles to size using hand and power tools • Install tiles according to plans, drawings, and specifications • Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants correctly • Ensure alignment, spacing, and finishing meet quality standards • Repair or replace damaged tiles when required • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Follow health and safety regulations at all times Requirements & Skills: • Proven experience as a Tiler or Ceramic Tile Installer • Knowledge of different tile materials and installation techniques • Ability to read technical drawings and layouts • Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship • Physical stamina and manual dexterity • Ability to work independently or as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: • Formal training or certification in tiling (if applicable) • Experience in residential renovations and/or new builds
