The Logistics Operator is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient

handling of goods within the Distribution Centre. The role ensures smooth

warehouse operations through proper loading, unloading, order preparation, and

strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position is primarily operational and plays a key role in supporting overall

warehouse performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

 Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

 Prepare customer orders accurately and on time

 Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, pallet stacker) and other

warehouse equipment

 Perform daily equipment safety checks

 Ensure correct storage and handling of materials

 Maintain inventory accuracy and support stock counts

 Follow SAP or warehouse system processes for order handling

 Maintain warehouse organization according to 5S standards

 Comply strictly with health & safety procedures

 Collaborate with warehouse team, drivers, and customer service

 Support general warehouse and yard operations as required

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor.

KPIs & Performance Indicators

Success in this role is measured by:

 Accuracy and completeness of order preparation

 Loading and unloading efficiency

 Inventory accuracy

 Compliance with safety regulations

 Reliability and teamwork

 Proper equipment handling

Performance is evaluated through ongoing supervisor feedback and annual

performance review.

Work Environment

 Based at the Limassol Distribution Center

 Work takes place in warehouse and yard areas

 Physically demanding role (lifting, moving, machinery operation)

Working Hours

Two shift schedule:

 07:00 – 15:00

 09:00 – 17:00

Primarily daytime work with occasional flexibility depending on workload.

Requirements

Education

 Secondary education

 Valid Category B driving license

Experience

 Ideally 2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution, or

manufacturing

 Forklift experience is preferred

 Good understanding of warehouse operations

 Basic system literacy (SAP is an advantage)

 Strong safety awareness

 Team-oriented mindset

 Reliable and responsible

 Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Languages

 Greek preferred

Manpower Cyprus is recruiting on behalf of a leading client a full-time Stock Control Officer based in Nicosia. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy • Ensure the accurate recording and maintenance of the company's products and inventory. • Compare physical inventory with stock records in the inventory management system. • Update and maintain the accuracy of inventory management systems. • Prepare reports on inventory availability and stock movements. Stock Audits & Verification • Conduct scheduled physical stock counts and inventory checks. • Perform unscheduled and ad hoc inventory audits based on operational needs. • Carry out regular visits to company stores, warehouses, and other storage or sales locations across Cyprus. Analysis & Reporting • Identify inventory discrepancies, shortages, or process weaknesses and investigate their causes. • Record audit findings and prepare reports for Management. • Monitor the implementation of agreed corrective actions.
