Job Title: Full-Time Cashier / Mini Market Assistant (Permanent, Year-Round) ​Location: Agapinoros 8-6, Paphos 8049, Cyprus Job Type: Full-time (Permanent / Year-Round Role) Shift Pattern: Full flexibility required for morning, evening, and weekend rotations. ​About Us ​We are a vibrant, customer-focused mini market located in Paphos (Agapinoros area). We are looking for an enthusiastic, long-term Cashier / Store Assistant to join our permanent team. ​Main Responsibilities ​Customer Relations: Provide a warm, polite, and welcoming face at checkout; build excellent, trusted relationships with our regular local customers. ​Till Operations: Efficiently operate the cash register/till and securely process daily payments. ​Merchandising: Maintain an immaculate, neat, and highly organized display on shelves and counters. ​Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels daily, keeping presentation clean and identifying items that need reordering. ​Store Upkeep: Maintain excellent standards of routine tidiness, presentation, and cleanliness across the retail space. ​Requirements & Qualifications ​Work Eligibility: Must already hold the legal right to work full-time hours in Cyprus without sponsorship. Valid EU Passport or Yellow Slip registration documentation must be presented at the first interview. ​Availability: Strictly a permanent, year-round position. Full flexibility is required to work rotating retail shifts, including daytime, evenings, and weekends (not suitable for seasonal or student schedules). ​Key Characteristics: Exceptional organizational skills, high reliability, attention to detail, and a naturally warm, pleasant, and cheerful personality. ​Preferred Skills (An Advantage) ​Previous experience in a retail environment, customer service, or cash handling. ​Professional fluency in English (knowledge of Greek is highly valued). ​How to Apply ​We do not accept casual phone applications. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Prepare rental agreements while advising customers on vehicles and optional extras tailored to their needs. Promote additional products and services on a commission basis. Deliver excellent customer service in every customer interaction. Meet defined sales and service standards. Complete administrative tasks, including daily fuel and cash book reporting, to support branch operations. Communicate with customers via telephone and email in a professional and helpful manner. Assist with the return and turnaround of vehicles as required. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Your Profile for Success: Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages will be considered an advantage. Valid driver’s license for manual and automatic vehicles with a clean driving record with a minimum of one year driving experience. Experience in meeting sales targets or working in commission-based roles will be considered an advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Capable of handling challenging situations while maintaining high-quality. customer service standards. Willingness to work 6 days per week on shifts from Monday to Sunday. Willingness to wear company uniform.
