Vintage Celestion 3 Bookshelf Speakers – Excellent Condition
Up for sale is a matched pair of classic Celestion 3 bookshelf speakers (often associated with the famous Ditton lineage). Released in the late 1980s, these compact British monitors are legendary among audiophiles for their incredible imaging, fast transient response, and pristine clarity that punches way above their size.
Sound & Performance
These speakers feature Celestion’s renowned 1-inch titanium-dome tweeter paired with a nimble felted-fiber woofer. They deliver a beautifully detailed high-end, exceptionally clear vocals, and a tight, punchy mid-bass. They are perfect for a stereo music setup, vinyl listening station, or a vintage desktop system.
Condition
Cosmetics: Excellent vintage condition. The cabinets show only minor, normal signs of use. No major gashes, scratches, or peeling vinyl.
Drivers: The titanium tweeters are perfectly intact and un-dented (a rare find for these models). The woofer surrounds are in fantastic shape with no rot or tears.
Functionality: 100% tested and working beautifully. Clean, crisp sound from both channels. Grilles are included and intact.
