As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented **Accountant / Bookkeeper** to join our finance team in Limassol.This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to work in an international, fast-paced environment and play an important role in supporting the company's financial operations and senior management.### The RoleAs an **Accountant / Bookkeeper**, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and preparing regular financial reports for the **CFO and senior management**.The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work confidently with financial data in a regulated and international business environment.### Key Responsibilities* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.* Prepare and reconcile bank, payment provider, and other financial accounts.* Monitor transactions and investigate discrepancies or unusual items.* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.* Prepare regular financial reports and analysis for the CFO.* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.* Prepare cash-flow reports, expense reports, revenue reports, and other financial analysis as required.* Monitor company expenses, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.* Work closely with internal departments to collect and validate financial information.* Assist with audits, tax-related matters, and regulatory reporting where required.* Ensure accounting records and documentation are maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.* Support the CFO with ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and management requests.* Identify discrepancies, improve financial processes, and contribute to the development of efficient accounting procedures.### Forex / Financial Services ResponsibilitiesExperience within the Forex, CFD, online trading, payments, fintech, or broader financial services industry would be highly advantageous.The role may also involve:* Reconciliation of trading-related and operational transactions.* Monitoring client-related financial flows and payment transactions.* Preparing financial information related to trading operations and company revenue.* Working with multiple currencies, entities, payment providers, and international transactions.* Supporting finance reporting across different jurisdictions and company entities.* Providing accurate financial data to support management decisions.### Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.* **2–5+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience.*** Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.* Experience with accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.* Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.* Strong organisational and time-management skills.* Good command of written and spoken English.* Professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive financial information.### Advantageous* Experience in **Forex, CFD, Fintech, payments, brokerage, or financial services**.* Experience working with international companies or multiple legal entities.* ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or other relevant professional qualification/studies.* Experience preparing management reports for CFOs or senior management.* Knowledge of Cyprus accounting and tax requirements.* Experience with multi-currency accounting and international transactions.### What We Offer* Opportunity to join an established international financial services company.* Fully on-site role in **Limassol**.* Monday–Friday, **09:00–18:00** working hours.* Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.* Professional and international working environment.* Opportunities for professional development and career growth.* Exposure to international finance, Forex, and financial services operations.* Direct cooperation with the CFO and senior management.### The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is **hands-on, reliable, analytical, and commercially minded**.
