### About the roleBackboneAI helps companies across Cyprus adopt AI through practical, hands-on training.We are looking for a Freelance AI Trainer to deliver in-person workshops for groups of 5–10 participants.All training materials, slides, demonstrations and exercises are prepared by BackboneAI. Your role will be to bring them to life: explain concepts clearly, run live demonstrations, guide participants through practical exercises and adapt examples to each client’s business.You do not need to know all our tools or training materials from day one. We will train you on the content, and you will observe real workshops before delivering your own.What matters most is that you have genuine hands-on experience building with AI and can explain technical concepts clearly.### What you’ll do- Facilitate in-person AI workshops for groups of 5–10 participants- Run live demonstrations of AI tools- Guide participants through practical exercises- Answer questions clearly and confidently- Adapt examples to clients’ industries and roles- Help participants apply AI to real business workflows- Recommend relevant follow-up training or consulting when appropriate### Workshop topicsDepending on the client, workshops may cover:- How large language models work and how to use them safely- Prompt engineering and reusable prompt templates- Professional use of Claude, including Projects, Skills, Connectors and Cowork- Automating repetitive workflows such as reporting, content creation and follow-ups- AI use cases for HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Support and Management- Technical topics including Claude Code, Codex, AI agents, sub-agents and MCP### Who we’re looking forTwo things matter above everything else: you have real experience building with AI, and you can teach.You should have:- At least two years of hands-on experience using AI to build real tools, automations, products or workflows- A technical background and familiarity with code, scripts and APIs- Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or similar- A good understanding of AI agents, sub-agents and MCP- Real business experience and an understanding of how companies operate- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts simply- Confidence speaking in front of groups- A strong interest in AI and emerging tools- Fluent English- Based in Cyprus and able to travel across the island- Availability to work as a freelancer or independent contractorGreek is a strong advantage.Previous training experience and a Master’s degree or equivalent are appreciated but not required.### Working arrangement- Freelance / independent contractor- In-person workshops across Cyprus- Half-day, full-day and multi-day assignments- Paid per workshop or per day- Preparation time included- Day rate discussed during the interview, with increases as you gain autonomy and take on more assignments- Commission available for additional training or consulting opportunities you help generate- Opportunity for long-term collaboration### How to applyPlease send your CV together with a short introduction explaining:- What you have built using AI- Which AI tools you use regularly- Any relevant teaching, presentation or workshop experience- Your location and availability in Cyprus

BackboneAI helps companies in Cyprus, mainly small and medium-sized ones, turn AI into real productivity. We do two things: • Training. Hands-on, in-person workshops that teach teams to use the best AI tools in their actual jobs: accounting, HR, sales, marketing, operations, management, finance. • Automation. We build tools that take repetitive work off people's desks: quotes, reporting, invoice checks, contract review, customer replies. Every workshop and every automation is built in-house. What we need now is someone who brings us the companies that need them. What you will do • Identify companies in Cyprus that would benefit from AI training or automation, mostly 20 to 200 people. • Reach decision makers (CEO, COO, HR, Finance) through your network, LinkedIn, email, phone and local business events. • Run the first conversation: understand how the company works, where time is lost, and whether we can help. • Book qualified meetings, and prepare them so the next call is useful. • Take part in closing alongside the founder at first, then close on your own as you learn the offer. • Keep the pipeline up to date in our CRM. At the start, the founder runs or joins every closing call with you. The goal is that within a few months you can run a deal from first contact to signature. What we give you • A high commission on every contract you bring in, with no cap. • Offers that are easy to explain and have a clear price. • Real use cases, demos and case material you can send to prospects. • A CRM, prospecting tools and lead lists. • A founder who joins your calls and answers prospects' technical questions. • Training on our workshops and automations, so you understand what you sell. Who we are looking for • You already know people who run businesses in Cyprus. This matters more than anything else on this list. • At least two years of B2B sales, business development or account management, ideally selling services, consulting, software or training. • You are comfortable starting a conversation with someone you do not know, and following up without being pushy. • You are curious about AI. You do not need to be technical, but you should use AI tools yourself. • Fluent English (mandatory). Greek is a strong plus, as many of our clients prefer it. • Based in Cyprus. Pay The first three months are commission only. There is no fixed salary during this period. You work as an independent contractor and earn a high commission on every contract you bring in, with no cap. After that, if it works, we are open to bringing you in-house with a fixed salary plus commission. This role suits someone who already has a network and wants to be paid on results, not someone who needs a stable salary from month one.
