One-to-One Developmental & Learning Support — Larnaca areaWe're a family looking for a warm, reliable and motivated person to provide one-to-one developmental support for our child — an 8-year-old boy on the autism spectrum (ASD). This is broader than classroom teaching: it's hands-on developmental work — supporting his communication, learning, play, social skills, regulation and daily routines — following an individualised program, with full guidance and support from us.The roleDay-to-day one-to-one work tailored to his individual profile, pace and interests. Depending on the day, this includes:- Structured learning at his level (early literacy and numeracy)- Communication and speech practice (following his speech therapist's targets)- Play, turn-taking and social skills- Emotional regulation, and helping him stay calm and focused- Daily routines and independence- You'll follow and help develop an individualised program, keep simple progress notes, and shape a steady daily rhythm — short, focused sessions balanced with movement and breaks.- You'll work as part of a small support team around him.About you- A relevant background or strong relevant experience — for example education, early-years, psychology, childcare, special-needs support, or therapy/learning assistance.- A teaching or SEN qualification is a bonus, not a must.- Most importantly: patient, calm, consistent, reliable, and genuinely warm with children.- Willing to learn and to follow a structured, individualised approach — we provide the program, the guidance and ongoing support.- Fluent English — familiarity with the UK curriculum / early-years framework is a plus.- Able to provide verifiable references.Schedule & pay (flexible by arrangement)- Part-time: approximately 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (5 hours/day), Monday to Friday — €700/month- Full-time: approximately 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (8 hours/day), Monday to Friday — €1,000/monthBased in the Larnaca area. Primarily a "come and go" role — but a live-in arrangement (accommodation provided) may also be possible by agreement, however, the rate of pay would be adjusted and please state in your message if your preference would be to live-out of live-in.
