We are seeking a talented and dedicated Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team and ensure the efficient and safe operation of our mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and Planning: Develop designs for new mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Select appropriate materials and equipment. Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of existing mechanical systems. Troubleshoot issues, schedule regular maintenance, and coordinate repairs. Project Management: Manage projects related to mechanical systems upgrades, installations, or replacements. Plan projects, coordinate with contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor budgets and timelines. Energy Management: Implement energy-efficient practices and technologies to reduce energy consumption. Conduct energy audits, analyze data, and recommend improvements. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all mechanical systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations, adhering to safety and environmental standards. Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise to other departments and stakeholders. Train staff, answer technical questions, and offer recommendations. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of mechanical systems, including design specifications, maintenance logs, and repair histories. Produce reports on system performance and project progress. Vendor Management: Work with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary equipment and materials. Evaluate new technologies and negotiate contracts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a facilities management or similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Familiarity with energy-efficient practices and technologies. Excellent project management skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues. Strong understanding of safety and compliance regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
