Kundalini is the name given in yoga and esotericism to the energy concentrated at the base of the human spine. Various methods and practices exist for "awakening" Kundalini, that is, raising this energy up the spine through the seven main chakras.

A person has a subtle body, the main components of which are energy centers (chakras) and channels (nadis). Most commonly, there are six main chakras located along the spine, as well as an area at the top of the head called Sahasrara ("thousand-petaled lotus"). Of particular importance among these channels is the central channel (Sushumna), which runs from the base of the spine to Sahasrara, as well as the Ida and Pingala channels, located on the left and right sides.

Kundalini is a dormant energy.

The goal of a Kundalini master is to awaken this energy in the human body.

What does Kundalini awakening provide?

1. Enhanced spiritual growth and higher consciousness. This process expands consciousness, deepens the connection with divine power, and provides insight into the nature of reality and oneself.

2. Enhanced creativity and intuition. People may experience a greater flow of ideas, artistic expression, and intuitive insights.

A session can last from an hour to two hours; I usually complete a session in 60-75 minutes. I work with the chakras using both contact and non-contact methods (Reiki techniques). To work with the chakras, the body must be immersed in a state of maximum relaxation, preferably a light trance. This is done using a deep relaxing massage, special oils with a specific ingredient, and also the rhythms of music and awakening mantras.
