Frontend Test Engineer (QA) – 3+ Years of Experience

General Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience testing web-based frontend applications

Hands-on experience developing automated tests using Puppeteer, Cypress, or Selenium

Strong knowledge of test strategies and methodologies (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Black-box, White-box)

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals (comfortable reading code)

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar

Experience using test and defect management tools (JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent)

Experience working in teams using Git and version control systems

Hands-on experience contributing to Agile / Scrum development processes

Job Description

Plan and execute functional, regression, and performance tests for web applications

Develop and maintain frontend test automation using Puppeteer, Cypress, or Selenium

Validate UI/UX designs and ensure user interactions function correctly

Create and maintain test scenarios, test plans, and test cases

Report defects in a clear, reproducible, and developer-focused manner

Build test processes integrated into the software development lifecycle

Verify that new features and code changes meet expected behavior

Identify performance, security, and stability risks in frontend applications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with test automation integrated into TDD and CI pipelines

Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Karma

Knowledge of Accessibility (WCAG) and SEO testing practices

Awareness of web security testing concepts (XSS, CSRF, etc.)

Experience testing Web Vitals (page speed, mobile compatibility, performance metrics)
