About the Role

We’re on the hunt for a talented Steel Detailer to join our international team! As a Steel Detailer or Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing industrial steel structures to life. You’ll work with global clients, engineers, and fabricators to create detailed shop drawings, 3D models, and fabrication-ready documentation. If you’re passionate about steel detailing and have a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

Develop 3D models from draft models, adding connections, grating, handrails, ladders, and secondary steelwork

Create fabrication-ready documentation, including BOMs, NC files, and assembly drawings

Collaborate with international teams to resolve technical queries and ensure drawings meet fabrication requirements

Manage document control, drawing registers, transmittals, and revision tracking

Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders across the globe

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of practical experience in steel structure design

Demonstrable background in industrial steelwork detailing, with a focus on platforms, walkways, and structural frames

Understanding of steel fabrication processes and the ability to produce manufacturable drawings

Familiarity with Eurocode or equivalent international standards is a plus

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent written English for client and fabricator correspondence

Experience working with overseas fabricators is a definite advantage
