Kodak EasyShare C533 Vintage Digital Camera – Excellent Condition – Tested & Working (Flash Issue)

The Kodak EasyShare C533 is a classic vintage digital camera from the golden era of compact digital photography. It features a 5-megapixel sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens, and Kodak's well-known color reproduction that produces attractive, natural-looking images.

One of the nice features of the C533 is its flexibility when composing photos. You can use the rear LCD screen with live view or, for a more traditional photography experience and better battery life, compose your shots through the built-in optical viewfinder.

This camera is in excellent cosmetic condition, as shown in the photos. All functions have been carefully tested and are working properly except for the built-in flash.

The camera includes a dedicated flash button on the top panel, allowing you to select different flash modes such as:

Flash Off

Auto Flash

Flash On

Red-Eye Reduction

Unfortunately, even when Flash On is selected, the flash does not fire. Because the camera expects additional light from the flash, photos taken in flash modes may appear underexposed (darker than normal).

Aside from this issue, the camera performs very well when used with the flash disabled. It takes excellent photos in daylight and works perfectly in situations where flash is not required. All other camera functions, controls, zoom, LCD screen, viewfinder, memory card operation, and image recording have been tested and are working correctly.

Included with the camera is a 1GB SD memory card, capable of storing approximately 700 photos at the highest 5MP quality setting, as well as plenty of vintage-style video clips.

The flash issue has been fully reflected in the asking price, making this an excellent opportunity to own a clean and fully usable vintage Kodak digital camera at an affordable cost.
