Pair of solid wood armchairs with ornate carved crestrails, turned finials, and shaped scroll armrests. Upholstered in a dusty mauve/pink fabric with decorative trim and nailhead detailing. The wood frames are solid and in excellent condition — no structural issues with the carving, legs, or joinery.
However, the seat support has given way underneath (see photo of the underside), so they are not currently safe to sit on until the seat base is repaired or reupholstered. Great project pieces or a nice pair once reconditioned — the bones are strong and the carving quality is lovely.
