A genuine V8 X5 – the real deal with the 4.8L naturally aspirated engine, 355 hp, and that unmistakable V8 sound. Completely stock, nothing modified.
This is not a neglected example. Between January and July 2026 I invested approx. €7,960 at BMW Char. Pilakoutas (Paphos) and one independent garage to bring it into solid mechanical shape. Every single invoice is included and available for inspection, along with warranties on the repaired items.
Service history 2026 – all documented
January 2026 – full service (€609) Engine oil and filter (8L eni i-Sint 5W-40), air filter elements left and right, microfilter (cabin filter), brake fluid service.
March 2026 – major mechanical overhaul (€5,201)
Automatic transmission service: oil pan, fluid filter, sealing kit, 8L ATF
Oil leaks resolved: both upper timing case covers resealed, intake manifold removed and refitted, cylinder head cover gaskets (cyl. 1–4) and cylinder head cover (cyl. 5–8) renewed, all 8 spark plug pipes with seals
Mechanical coolant pump renewed
Solenoid valve renewed
Propshaft flex disc (universal joint) renewed
Rubber mounts on both tension struts renewed, plus shaft seal
Rear axle differential: output shaft seals, input flange radial seal, repair kit insert nut, complete sealing kit, BMW synthetic oil

June 2026 – new starter motor (€500)
July 2026 – new original BMW battery (€511)
July 2026 – electrical work (€1,143) Full vehicle diagnosis, wiring harness repair, CAS control unit repair, video multiplexer and reversing camera work.

Known faults – full disclosure
I would rather you read this here than discover it on the test drive:
- Reversing camera does not currently work.
- Front-left daytime running light is out.
- One of the two panoramic roof actuators is dead. The roof still slides open and closed normally, but it will no longer tilt.
Everything mechanically and electrically important has been repaired - and unlike most listings, you can verify that claim invoice by invoice.
Optional extra
An aftermarket head unit with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto and touchscreen, approx. 6 months old, is available separately for €300. The car is otherwise completely standard.
Why I'm selling
Nothing wrong with the car - I'm moving to something smaller, as my partner doesn't want to drive a vehicle this size.
