Genelec 8040a active studio monitors - tested pair - good condition

Selling a pair of genuine Genelec 8040A active studio monitors in good overall condition for their age.

Both monitors have been tested together and are working properly, producing clean audio with no obvious distortion, crackling or intermittent operation during the test.

One photographed rear label is dated July 2008. The monitors have seen limited use and have been stored carefully, but the cabinets do show visible surface scratches and scuff marks. These are shown honestly in the photographs and are reflected in the price.

The Genelec 8040A is a professional two-way bi-amplified nearfield monitor made in Finland. It was produced from 2005 to 2013 and was replaced by the 8040B.

Suitable for music production, recording, mixing, editing, video work, podcasting, broadcast and content-production rooms, DJ monitoring, professional desktop audio and serious home-studio use.
