Key Responsibilities: Assist lead technicians with the physical installation of security hardware (cameras, sensors, panels). Run and terminate cabling (Cat5e/6, coaxial, alarm wire) at commercial and residential sites. Prepare tools, organize inventory, and maintain a clean work environment on-site. Location: Nicosia An established Audit & Accounting Firm based in Nicosia is seeking to recruit an Experienced / Senior Auditor on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be an experienced audit professional capable of handling audit engagements with a high degree of independence, preparing financial statements and tax computations, and ensuring that assignments are completed in accordance with applicable professional standards and Cyprus legislation. Key Responsibilities - Planning, execution and completion of audit engagements for local and international clients. - Performing audit work in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). - Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). - Preparation and maintenance of audit working papers and supporting documentation. - Identification and assessment of audit risks and resolution of audit issues arising during engagements. - Preparation and/or review of corporate income tax computations and relevant tax returns. - Liaising directly with clients and obtaining all necessary accounting records and supporting documentation. - Ensuring compliance with applicable Cyprus Companies Law, tax and VAT legislation and other relevant regulatory requirements. - Ensuring that audit assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. - Providing guidance and assistance to junior members of the audit/accounting team, where required. - Keeping up to date with developments in IFRS, ISAs, Cyprus taxation and relevant legislation. Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate should possess: - University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another relevant field. - Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in external audit, preferably within an audit/accounting firm in Cyprus. - ACA/ACCA qualification or progress towards obtaining a recognised professional accounting qualification will be considered a strong advantage. - Very good knowledge and practical experience of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). - Good working knowledge of the Cyprus Companies Law, Cap. 113, Cyprus taxation and VAT legislation and the regulatory framework relevant to audit and accounting services. - Experience in the preparation of financial statements, audit files, tax computations and corporate tax returns. - Knowledge of CaseWare / CaseWare Audit International or similar audit software will be considered a strong advantage. - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken. - Previous experience dealing directly with clients and managing audit assignments independently. Personal Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Excellent organisational and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments and deadlines. - Professional approach and strong sense of confidentiality. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to identify audit issues and exercise professional judgement. - Reliable, responsible and able to work effectively as part of a small professional team.
