Job Description
As the “voice” and “face” of our clinic, your key responsibilities will include:
Reception & Customer Service: Warmly welcoming pet owners and their pets, creating an atmosphere of safety and trust from the very first moment.
Appointment Management: Coordinating and scheduling consultations and surgeries in collaboration with the medical team.
Communication: Managing the clinic’s phone calls, emails, and messages to ensure prompt and efficient customer service.
Administrative Organisation: Maintaining and updating digital records and patient histories within the veterinary software system.
Product Deliveries: Receiving and processing product deliveries for the clinic’s retail store.
Cashier & Payment Management: Issuing receipts/invoices, processing payments, and carrying out the daily cash register closing.
Maintaining the Premises: Ensuring the reception and waiting areas are clean, welcoming, and presented to the highest standard.
🎯 Essential & Desirable Qualifications
We are looking for someone who loves communication as much as they love animals! The key qualities we are looking for include:
Love for Animals & Empathy: A genuine interest in the wellbeing of pets, together with an understanding of the stress or concerns experienced by pet owners.
Communication Skills: Politeness, patience, clear communication, and the ability to handle difficult or urgent situations calmly and with a positive attitude.
Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to multitask effectively, managing phone calls, clients in the clinic, and administrative tasks simultaneously, with strong attention to detail.
Digital Skills: Comfortable using computers, including MS Office and email. Knowledge of specialised veterinary software will be considered an additional advantage.
Languages: Very good command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.
Previous experience: Experience in a similar reception, customer service, or administrative role—ideally within a medical or veterinary environment—will be highly valued.
