Our client is one of Limassol’s most active residential real estate developers, with 20+ projects underway across multiple SPVs and a team of 35 across Commercial, Finance, Technical, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care.

The Role

This is a hands-on in-house legal position embedded within the Legal & Operations function. The successful candidate will work directly alongside the Head of Legal & Operations, taking ownership of legal execution across active transactions and corporate matters, and supporting the team in closing the gap between legal, operations, and finance.

Guidance and mentorship are provided by the Head of Legal & Operations, this is a collaborative working relationship built on shared ownership of outcomes, not a hierarchical one.

This is not a passive advisory role. They need someone who takes files, moves them forward, and closes them.

Job Responsibilities

Corporate & Compliance

Company incorporations, SPV formations, and routine corporate maintenance under the Cyprus Companies Law (Cap. 113)

Preparation of board resolutions, powers of attorney, declarations, and undertakings

UBO register maintenance, statutory filings, and annual corporate compliance

Supporting AML/KYC process ownership, file management, document chasing, and internal record keeping

Maintaining a complete and current legal filing system across all active and closed matters

Transaction Support

Drafting and reviewing contracts of sale, reservation agreements, side letters, and ancillary transaction documents

Managing and progressing active transaction files from instruction through to completion

Chasing outstanding items, AML/KYC documents, bank confirmations, Land Registry requirements — across multiple simultaneous files

Coordinating with external counsel, notaries, and the District Lands Office on title deed transfers and registration

Following up on broken, stalled, or disputed cases and driving them to resolution and formal closure

Banking & Finance Coordination

Preparing documentation packages for company loan facilities, draw-downs, and renewals

Issuing developer co-operation documents for purchaser mortgage files

Supporting new bank account openings for SPVs and group entities

Requirements

Law Degree

2 to 4 years of experience; exposure to corporate law, real estate transactions, or both considered an advantage

Familiarity with Cyprus AML/KYC requirements

Experience with Cyprus Companies Law (Cap. 113), incorporations, filings, and corporate governance

Skills & Attributes

Organised and file-driven, able to manage a large number of simultaneous open matters without losing track

A finisher, someone who picks up a file, identifies what is missing, and does not let it sit

Commercially aware, understands the link between legal execution and cash flow

Comfortable drafting independently and taking ownership of documents without requiring constant direction

Discreet and professional in handling confidential matters including employment, equity, and corporate structure

Fluent in Greek and English, drafting and correspondence in both languages
