Instead of taking one photo per film frame, it captures two images per standard 35mm frame, effectively giving you double the number of photos per roll. This means that a standard 36-exposure film will give you around 72 portrait photos, while a 24-exposure film will give you around 48 portrait photos. This makes it not only economical but also very fun and experimental for street photography and storytelling.

Another amazing feature of the half-frame system is that the images are naturally produced in a portrait orientation, giving every shot a distinctive vertical composition that feels cinematic and artistic. It is perfect for portraits, street scenes, and creative photography.
