Helen Charles Salon – Paphos, CyprusHelen Charles Salon is looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Hair Stylist / Salon Manager to take a leading role in the day-to-day operation and future development of our established Paphos salon.This is an opportunity for someone who combines strong professional hairdressing skills with the ambition to take greater responsibility for running a business.Extensive previous management experience is not essential. Training and support can be provided to the right person. Excellent hairdressing skills, professionalism, reliability and the ability to lead people are considerably more important.The RoleThe successful candidate will progressively take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the salon, including:- providing professional hairdressing services;- managing and supporting the salon team;- staff rotas and scheduling;- maintaining excellent customer service standards;- handling customer queries and issues;- stock control and purchasing;- daily financial administration and reporting;- supporting recruitment and staff development;- monitoring staff performance;- helping coordinate marketing and promotions;- contributing to the continued development of the business.The salon owner will remain available for guidance and oversight, particularly during the transition period.What We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will:- have strong professional hairdressing skills;- have experience with extensions;- have relevant salon/hairdressing experience;- be confident working independently;- demonstrate leadership potential;- be organised and commercially minded;- communicate confidently with customers and colleagues;- be comfortable taking responsibility and making day-to-day decisions;- have an interest in developing both themselves and the salon.Previous salon management experience is an advantage but not essential.Applicants must be appropriately licensed/registered to work professionally as a hairdresser in Cyprus, or be eligible to obtain the required registration.CompensationBasic salary: starting from approximately €1,600 per month, increasing up to approximately €2,000 per month depending on experience and skill levelPlus:- commission;- potential performance-related incentives;opportunities for greater responsibility and progression.For the right individual, there may also be an opportunity to discuss future participation in or ownership of the business.Why This Opportunity Is DifferentThis is not simply another hairdressing vacancy.It is an opportunity to join an established salon, develop into a senior leadership position and potentially play a significant role in the long-term future of the business.Interested candidates will initially be asked to complete a short application questionnaire before selected applicants are invited for an interview.
