Caregiver Required for Elderly Gentleman – Age 88 We are looking for a kind, patient and experienced caregiver to support an 88-year-old gentleman who is blind and living with dementia. The caregiver will share shifts with another caregiver, so we are looking for someone reliable and flexible who is comfortable working as part of a small care team and ensuring good continuity of care. LIVE-IN NURSE / PHYSIOTHERAPIST WANTED – NICOSIA We are looking for a qualified, experienced and compassionate nurse or physiotherapist to provide full-time, live-in care for a 54-year-old male recovering from a serious brain injury. The patient has limited mobility and requires assistance with all daily activities. We are looking for someone mature, gentle, patient and reliable, preferably over 30, who is willing to become part of our family and provide long-term care. Required experience and knowledge: * PEG tube feeding (syringe and feeding pump). * PEG tube cleaning and care. * Pressure sore (bedsore) care and wound dressings. * Safe patient positioning and regular turning in bed. * Safe transfers between bed, wheelchair and shower chair. * Personal hygiene, bed baths and showering. * Nappy changing and incontinence care. * Condom catheter care. * Medication preparation and administration according to medical instructions. * Basic physiotherapy, mobility exercises and rehabilitation support. * Experience caring for patients with neurological conditions or brain injuries is highly desirable. Daily responsibilities: * Assisting with washing, dressing and personal hygiene. * Positioning and transferring the patient safely. * Preparing and administering PEG feeds and medication. * Changing nappies and assisting with toileting. * Assisting with wound care and dressing changes. * Helping with mobility and rehabilitation exercises. * Keeping the patient's bedroom and medical equipment clean and organised. * Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support. * Encouraging participation in daily activities. * Some cooking, laundry and household cleaning may also be required. All medical and nursing procedures must be performed within the candidate's professional qualifications and training. Working arrangements: * Live-in position with private accommodation provided. * Availability approximately 6:30 am–7:00 pm when needed, with regular breaks and agreed time off. * Long-term employment preferred. * Salary negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. * No students or part-time applicants. * Nursing or physiotherapy qualifications and relevant caregiving experience required.
