Luma Developers is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Paphos. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who can take ownership of day-to-day financial operations while supporting the company’s continued growth in the real estate sector.

About the Role

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring transactions, and supporting reporting and compliance processes. You will work closely with management to ensure smooth financial operations across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Record Keeping

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date accounting records

• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial data

- Bank & Transaction Reconciliation

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor all incoming and outgoing payments

• Track payments to suppliers, tax authorities, and other stakeholders

• Follow up with clients and debtors regarding outstanding balances

- Payments & Supplier Settlements

• Process and execute supplier/vendor payments through the company’s bank accounts

• Maintain payment confirmations and update supplier ledgers accordingly

- VAT & Compliance

• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns

• Monitor and reconcile reduced VAT applications and records

- Payroll Support

• Assist with payroll preparation and reconciliation

• Support the preparation and submission of statutory forms (including IR7)

- Reporting & Budgeting

• Prepare financial reports and provide updates to management

• Maintain and track budgets across projects

- Invoicing & Account Reconciliation

• Issue invoices and credit notes

• Reconcile balances with property purchasers, clients, and suppliers

Requirements & Skills

Education & Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• 3–4 years of proven accounting/bookkeeping experience

• Experience in the real estate or property development sector will be considered a strong advantage

Technical Skills

• High level of computer literacy

• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel

Languages

• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (written and spoken)
