Greek language instructor - corporate courses limassol, paphos

Magdeutsch is a Berlin-based language school that has been delivering corporate language programs for leading international technology companies since 2020. We are expanding our proven in-office format to Cyprus and are looking for a qualified Greek language instructor to join us as a long-term delivery partner.

You will teach structured Greek courses (A1-B1) to small groups of relocated IT professionals at company offices in Limassol. Classes run approximately 4-6 hours per week in a sprint format, with scheduling agreed together. This is a recurring engagement on a freelance/subcontractor basis with a stable, professional client.

What you will do

- Deliver in-person Greek language courses for groups of 6-8 adults at company offices in Limassol

- Prepare lesson plans and materials adapted to learners who are relocated professionals navigating daily life in Cyprus

- Use a communication-first methodology: students speak from lesson one

- Track student progress and provide brief monthly updates

- Maintain a professional, engaging classroom environment

Requirements

- Certification in Teaching Greek as a Foreign/Second Language

- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Greek to adult non-native speakers

- Fluent English (required for classroom instruction and coordination)

- Based in Limassol or able to teach on-site regularly

- Experience with group classes in corporate, institutional, or university settings

- Professional, reliable, and comfortable working with international teams

Nice to have

- Russian language skills (many learners are Russian-speaking)

- Experience preparing students for the Ellinomatheia exam

- Previous work with tech companies or relocated professionals

- Based in or able to also cover Paphos (future groups planned)

Compensation

€30-€50 per teaching hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance/subcontractor engagement. We handle all client management, invoicing, and reporting. You focus on teaching.

Expected workload: ~4-6 hours/week, recurring. Potential to grow as programs expand.
