Looking for a qualified and compassionate teacher to provide structured afternoon learning for our son — a 8-year-old boy on the autism spectrum (ASD).

The role

One-to-one afternoon teaching tailored to our son's individual learning profile, pace and interests. You'll plan engaging, individualised lessons, track his progress, and work as part of a small team alongside his live-in support worker, who cares for him before and after your sessions to keep his day consistent and calm.

Schedule

- Approximately 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (ongoing / part-time on arrangement)

- In-person at our home in Larnaca — this is a "come and go" role, not live-in

- You arrive for the afternoon block and commute to and from our home

About you

- A qualified teacher (early years / primary / SEN qualification preferred)

- Demonstrable experience teaching or supporting children with autism (ASD) or other special educational needs

- Patient, calm, consistent and genuinely warm with children

- Fluent English — familiarity with the UK curriculum is a strong advantage, as our son is being schooled there in an ISP setting

- Comfortable collaborating closely with a support worker and parents/caregivers as one team

- Able to provide verifiable references
