Our client, a well-established and growing construction company in Cyprus, is looking for a **Quantity Surveyor** to join their team in **Paphos** and play a key role in the financial and contractual management of exciting construction projects.
ποΈ **The Role**
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account settlement, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest commercial standards.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to support the successful delivery of residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
πΉ **Key Responsibilities**
β’ Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
β’ Review and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
β’ Manage procurement processes and subcontractor evaluations
β’ Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow
β’ Prepare valuations, progress claims, and final accounts
β’ Assist with contract administration and commercial reporting
β’ Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
β’ Evaluate subcontractor performance and payment applications
β’ Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality
β’ Support project teams with commercial and contractual matters
β **Requirements**
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
β’ Minimum 3β5 years of Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry
β’ Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and commercial management
β’ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications
β’ Experience with tendering, procurement, and subcontractor management
β’ Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent communication and organisational abilities
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction cost management systems
β’ Fluency in Greek and good command of English
