The successful candidate will inspire students to see Mathematics as a meaningful, creative, and powerful tool for understanding the world. This role involves teaching a diverse group of learners, including multilingual students, and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level curriculum. We are looking for a teacher who brings clarity, passion, and adaptability to their teaching — someone who helps students grow in confidence as mathematicians and problem-solvers.Responsibilities:- Teach Mathematics according to the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level curriculum- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that support conceptual understanding- Use diverse teaching strategies, including problem-solving, collaborative tasks, digital tools, and real-world applications- Differentiate lessons for students with varying English levels and mathematical backgrounds- Assess, record, and report on students’ progress using formative and summative methods- Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment- Establish consistent behaviour expectations aligned with school policy- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership- Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress- Prepare classroom materials and maintain organised classroom displays- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, school events, and PD sessions- Participate in extracurricular activities, outings, and school initiativesRequirements:- Degree in Mathematics and a recognised teaching qualification- Experience teaching Mathematics up to IGCSE and A Level- Strong classroom management and ability to teach multilingual learners- High level of proficiency in EnglishInternational teaching experience is an advantage- Eligibility to work in Cyprus or willingness to obtain necessary permitsKYSATS approval or willingness to apply- Strong communication and organisational skills- Growth mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development- Basic spoken Russian is an advantage but not required- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamBenefits:- Supportive and friendly international team- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience- Opportunities for professional development and leadership- Small class sizes and collaborative environment- Lunch provided during working hours
