Sales engineer
The Sales Engineer plays a key role in expanding the commercial network,strengthening relationships with contractors and design professionals, andincreasing the specification of company systems in construction projects acrossCyprus.This is a field-based role, combining commercial development (approx. 60%) withtechnical support and training (approx. 40%). The role requires someone who isequally comfortable discussing technical solutions and building long-termcommercial relationships.Key Objectives (First Year) Grow and strengthen the commercial partner network Increase visibility and specification of systems in construction projects Build a strong, qualified project pipeline Establish trust with contractors, architects, engineers, and distributorsKey ResponsibilitiesCommercial Development Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, architects,engineers, and project owners Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion Monitor project pipelines and ensure early involvement at specification stage Represent the company in the market as a trusted technical and commercialpartnerTechnical Support & Project Coordination Provide technical support to commercial partners, contractors, and designoffices Coordinate and follow projects from design stage through execution Support correct system selection and application Deliver technical presentations and seminars at the training center andpartner facilitiesReporting & Internal Coordination Maintain accurate records of activities and projects in CRM Prepare basic reports and updates for management Collaborate closely with internal teams to support sales and projectexecutionTerritory & Travel Primary focus: Limassol and Paphos Occasional activity in Nicosia and Larnaca Regular travel within Cyprus (2–3 days per week) Occasional international travel for training (1–2 times per year)Performance Indicators Sales growth and pipeline development Number and quality of project specifications secured Customer satisfaction and relationship strength Frequency and effectiveness of technical presentations CRM accuracy and follow-up disciplineCandidate ProfileEducation Engineering degree required Civil or Architectural Engineering preferred Other engineering backgrounds acceptable with relevant experienceExperience 2–5 years in technical sales, project support, or specification roles Background in building materials, construction, insulation, or related B2Benvironments Experience working with contractors, architects, engineers, or distributorsSkills Strong understanding of construction systems Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to combine technical knowledge with commercial thinking Proficient in Microsoft Office CRM experience desirable Valid driving licenseLanguages Fluent Greek required English is a strong advantagePersonal Attributes Proactive, self-driven, and opportunity-oriented Technically curious and willing to continuously learn Strong relationship builder Structured, reliable, and disciplined in follow-up Team-oriented and respectful in all interactionsWhat We Offer Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience Performance-based annual bonus Continuous technical and commercial training Private health insurance Company car Company laptop and mobile phone Long-term career development within a stable, international organizationHiring ProcessApplications are reviewed promptly, with feedback provided within five workingdays.The company aims for an efficient and transparent recruitment process.
