Our client, an international Investment Firm with expanding operations in Cyprus, and on their behalf, are seeking to recruit a PSP Reconciliation & Onboarding Officer. This position would be a great opportunity for you to work in a company which believe in building long lasting relationships. Having 1-2 years of experience in a similar post will be a strong advantage and remuneration booster.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Head of Payments with all daily administration tasks;

Reconcile Data in the accounting system (Reconcile banks / PSP’s Balances with their statement and Client Balances with Platform balances) daily.

Acquiring data from CRM and Bank / PSP / LP statements and other sources and prepare reports to import into Reconciliation system.

Producing daily client’s journals for posting into the Reconciliation System.

Ability to identify errors and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Preparing various daily / weekly / monthly reports related to client’s funds and balances.

Adhere to corporate standards and procedures relating to reconciliation activities.

Liaise with other departments to investigate discrepancies.

Liaise with PSP’s and built strong work relationships;

Collect all relevant onboarding documentation and assist with onboarding new payment providers;

Assist in completing application forms procedures and KYC/KYB exchange with PSPs/Banks;

Requirements

Excellent communication skills

Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Ability to manage time and workload, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

Computer literate (MS Office etc) and task management tools

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to deliver on instructions and work as part of a team

Knowledge of Forex will be considered an advantage

University degree / diploma in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance Accounting or holder of LLCI

Experience in a similar position will be considered as strong advantage

Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate should possess: - University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another relevant field. - Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in external audit, preferably within an audit/accounting firm in Cyprus. - ACA/ACCA qualification or progress towards obtaining a recognised professional accounting qualification will be considered a strong advantage. - Very good knowledge and practical experience of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). - Good working knowledge of the Cyprus Companies Law, Cap. 113, Cyprus taxation and VAT legislation and the regulatory framework relevant to audit and accounting services. - Experience in the preparation of financial statements, audit files, tax computations and corporate tax returns. - Knowledge of CaseWare / CaseWare Audit International or similar audit software will be considered a strong advantage. - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken. - Previous experience dealing directly with clients and managing audit assignments independently.
