Accountant AssistantWe are a well-established Accounting and Auditing firm seeking to recruit an Accountant Assistant to join our professional team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activitiesAssist in the preparation and processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting recordsMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentationAssist with bank and account reconciliationsAssist with the preparation of financial reports and schedulesAssist with VAT and other accounting-related submissions and documentationOrganise and maintain accounting files and recordsAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activitiesCommunicate with clients and assist with accounting-related queries when requiredProvide general support to the accounting team and assist with other duties as requiredRequirementsPrevious experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related role will be considered an advantageKnowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping proceduresExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong computer literacy and confidence using accounting and office softwareExperience with accounting software will be considered an advantageExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Greek (additional languages are an advantage)Professional, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple tasksRemuneration & BenefitsA competitive and attractive remuneration package will be offered based on qualifications and experience, including:Annual Gross Salary: Competitive remuneration package, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experienceWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (including lunch break)21 days of annual leaveOpportunities for professional development, career progression, and continuous learningA supportive, professional, and collaborative working environment
