Overview Experienced Sous Chef role in a stylish hotel in Cyprus. Lead kitchen operations across all shifts, support the Head Chef, train staff, and ensure consistent high-quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and execute menu items to quality, portion and presentation standards.

Supervise, train and coordinate kitchen staff; cover sections and absences as needed.

Maintain kitchen cleanliness, labelling, storage and full HACCP compliance.

Assist Head Chef with recipe development, menu planning, costing and inventory control.

Oversee service during busy periods and take responsibility for the kitchen in Head Chef's absence.

Report equipment faults and ensure adherence to health & safety protocols.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience as Sous Chef or similar senior role (4- or 5-star hotel/resort preferred).

Strong leadership, training and communication skills. English essential; Greek advantageous.

Advanced cooking techniques and equipment knowledge.

Experience with food cost control, budgeting and inventory.

Ability to work under pressure and flexibly (evenings, weekends, holidays).

EU/EEA or Cypriot nationality required (no visa sponsorship).
